Treescapes

'This series of work began during a 30 day painting from life challenge. Some work was during lockdown, enabling me to immerse completely in my local environment. Many of the trees are seen from my patio. I studied the colour and shape variations observed over 30 days at different times of day. My final artwork, Swamp Gums at Noon was selected for the ACB Selects online Exhibition, off the back of the National Emerging Art Prize in 2021. The work was purchased by a private collector.
